The menu seemed to have a lot more items than the other locations, or perhaps I didn't notice it at the other ones. I wanted one of everything! I chose a full order of honey butter fried chicken so I could take home leftovers. He seemed so shocked about it and later also teased us about how much food the three of us had. But it's never a bad thing to have leftovers when the food is that good! We also had tteokbokki, chicken gimbap, and beef gimbap. I liked the beef one but would probably pass on the chicken one. I wonder how it would be if they did a chicken gimbap with their fried chicken!

The honey butter was definitely the best flavor at the table. The garlic was okay and I liked that it was a saucy flavor but I still preferred the honey butter. The yangnyum is also good but sometimes it's a little too saucy and I'm good after 1 or 2 pieces. The full order comes with two radish and two coleslaw, while the half order comes with one each. The boneless pieces are huge and I love it! I'm craving it again as I write this review.

Even though there are a couple locations closer to home, I would come back to this one for the great service and menu variety. Thank you for your hospitality Vons Folsom!!

  the best korean fried chicken in folsom! i have yet to try all their other flavors, but i have tried the crispy chicken and yangnyeom chicken. their chicken is made... read more hot and fresh, so you won't be getting some made-in-advance chicken sitting under a heat lamp. they're also cooked to perfection on the inside while still being golden and crispy and flaky on the outside.

the crispy chicken is indeed CRISPY, there's this subtle sweetness on the chicken which makes every bite delicious and addictive, you keep wanting more.

the yangnyeom is very sweet and spicy. i ordered the spicy one so the spiciness actually balanced out the sweetness. the flavors in this one just worked so well together. i loved that they poured the sauce over the chicken rather than coat the chicken in the sauce because while i enjoyed the sauce, i loved having some parts of the crispy chicken that wasn't touching the sauce.

i've also tried the buldak and it was okay, although i think the rice cake could've been  little softer. mine was a bit tough and chewy which took me a bit to chew through. the flavor otherwise was incredibly delicious, sweet, and savory. i'll have to give it another try and see if it comes out better next time.

the fries are always fresh and seasoned perfectly. it really complements as a side for these chicken dishes. the kimchi fried rice also goes very well with the chicken. to be honest, i'm not a fan of kimchi but i had the kimchi fried rice and it was pretty good.

i've only been here two times for takeout and the workers in the front are really helpful. service is amazing and the entire staff has really great communication with each other. those in the kitchen would often reconfirm orders with whoever works the front to make sure which order is prioritized so that everything got out at the right time. excellent teamwork and communication at that location.

My go to fave is the crunch fried chicken. Crunch indeed! So satisfying to hear the crunch. Crispy, golden, crackly battered crust. Mmm so darn delicious. On my last visit I ordered half wings and half drums, 8 pieces. The pieces were meaty. The chicken was fried to a moist, firmness. The batter is made of 5 grain powder which makes for a lighter, airy batter crust. The orders are fresh fried to order. No sitting around under heat lamps. No sirree. The chicken cones with small containers of pickled daikon and coleslaw. The pinkish colored daikon had that distinct pungent vinegar smell and tasted delicious. The coleslaw was packed with flavor as well. The slaw dressing had a great sweet n tart flavor. I also ordered Gim Bap, Korean rice rolls wrapped in seaweed with vegetables. Fabulous. Fluffy sushi rice with a kiss of sweet vinegar and thin sliced crunchy veggies. Yum.

Besides the chicken which they have 6 versions of the fried and 6 of the oven toasted, they have a lot of other menu items. It includes Korean corn dogs. Hello. 4 kinds of deep fried corn dog goodness. Plus 4 different kinds of french fries. They also have ramen, Korean rice cakes, Bi Bim Bob, Jap Chae, potstickers, 2 kinds of rice dishes, and onion rings.

The cashier told me that my eight piece order will take took 20 minutes. I appreciated the heads up and didn't mind the wait. It was worth the wait. I passed the time in the dining room watching Korean pop music video on the main screen. And watching the two smaller screens, one was showing sports and the other Korean cooking. All the screens have close caption and no sound. The dining room has plenty of seating. It has a modern industrial decor. Plus they have a covered outdoor dining area as well.

The manager greeted me and knew that it was my first time here as I was trying to look at the menu. He was super kind enough to give me recommendations.

This was the best fried chicken that I have ever tasted in my life!! I had my chicken be mild as recommended es by the manager to make sure that I can handle the spice. I told him after finishing up my first wing that I definitely could and he gave me the spicy sauce to dip my wings into. So much flavor. The skin was crispy and yummy while the meat itself was soooo juicy! Definitely will be coming back here for sure! His excellent care to customer and delicious food has got me sold!!
